Recessed Halo Lighting

In the past years, installing recessed lighting can be tough. But because of Halo lighting, recessed lighting installation has never been as easy and hassle-free.

The newest recessed lighting design from Halo features the unique and patented Got Nail Bar Hanger System that makes the installation so much easier. This patented system’s pre-installed nail not only prevents snagging but it also automatically aligns the system for straight and smooth installation. You don’t have to worry about where you’re going to put up the Got Nail Bar Hanger System since it specifically engineered to penetrate I-Joists, laminated beams and veneers beams as well as open web joists plates and frozen lumber.

Unlike other recessed lights that are either a hit-or-miss during installation, Halo lighting ensures a neat and professional appearance due to its Automatic Levelling Flange. All you need to do is hammer the nails in place to keep the housing straight. If you had made a mistake with the housing position, you can just use a claw hammer to remove the nail and reposition it properly. The Halo lighting also features 5 alternate mounting points which can accommodate nails or screws. The recessed Halo lighting’s Got Nail Bar Hanger System also comes with a handy integral T-Bar Clip and is adaptable to both steel and suspended ceiling systems.

The next time you installed recessed lighting in your home, choose Halo lighting.

Halo Lights for Your Home and Car

Brighten up your home and the lamps of your car with halo lights.

Halo is a registered brand of Cooper Lighting Industries. It is a name given to their lighting fixtures that are made of LED lamps which are partially encased in a shell whose interior is coated with a reflectorized surface. This coating reflects the light striking its surface, redirecting it towards the area to be illuminated, thus multiplying the luminance of the LED lamps.

The brand name "Halo", however, has been virtually genericized. Any lamp, whether LED, incandescent, or fluorescent, within a reflectorized enclosure is called a halo light. Often these are recessed, although they can also be on the ceiling or wall surface provided they are enclosed. Some even hang from the ceiling. They can come as single units of light, in clusters, or installed in a track lighting system. The casings of the surface-mounted types are of many attractive and colorful designs with different patterns and shapes.

Halo lights are able to focus the illumination from the lamp and the lining of the housing to a defined area, making them excellent for spotlighting specific areas in your home such as the fireplace, or art objects such as a painting or a statue. They are also excellent for task lighting. You can install them in the kitchen, immediately above your worktop; in the bathroom, to light up your vanity mirror; and in the study, to brighten up your desk. Finally, if you want soft and warm lighting in your room, you can have a halo light directed towards an interesting section and rely on the reflected light for illumination.

When used in vehicles, halo lights are usually called projector headlights. Typically, they use halogen lamps which produce a higher output and are brighter than stock factory-installed lamps. Coverage is wider, which makes night driving convenient and safe. While some drivers replace their factory headlights with halo lights, others only supplement them with smaller versions that are hitched to the parking lights. There are halo lights for practically any make and model of cars, SUVs, and trucks.
